A group of people were placed on an 800 calorie per day diet to loose weight. Then, those people who followed an exercising program involving a 40 minute aerobic workout twice a week for one year, did not regain their visceral fat. Visceral fat is the fat that is around the organs inside of the body. The more of that type of fat a person has, the greater their chance of getting Type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
