Elusive Exertions: The Need For Exercise

Introduction:

There are many conveniences in the modern world we live in. So many things have changed in the past 200 years. One thing to keep in mind though is that humankind created the modern world – governments for power, business for commerce, and consumers for self-indulgence. None of those gives glory to God, and it can appear as if humans are trying to replace God. What are the consequences of the modern lifestyle? Because of the many conveniences that modern world provides, we get a lot less exercise. People usually see that as a good thing, but the health consequences of that lack of exercise are becoming evident.

Exercise is one of the most advised recommendations that heath experts give. The world that God created required us to exercise more than the modern world. Furthermore, one of the punishments for the first sin was a sentence of labor. People in the modern world are trying to escape that judgment. This lack of exercise is because we are deviating from God’s original way, and as a result, it hurts our health. The following chart shows how exercise can benefit our labor deficient life.
